What I love about astrology is that it helps us peer around the corner and into the future.

Astrology helps us find beautiful opportunities to maximize the best things that are coming out into the world – like a needle in the haystack. When we find those opportunities in time, it’s like we find the on-ramp to the superhighway. Here’s the gist of this analogy: You've got to go from “Point A” to “Point B”, and you have a few route options. Option 1 is direct, 6-lanes, no traffic. Option 2 is scenic, adding time to your ride, but a beautiful view. Option 3 is the way you learned as a kid. The route you take from memory. Honestly, it’s not that great. There are some bumps and potholes. Last time you were on that road, it was under construction in a few places, wasn’t it?  

So, which route do you take? Ideally, the superhighway that’s free and clear with no traffic. Potentially the scenic route if you aren’t ready to move that fast. But you definitely do not want that road, that's not well paved and under construction. You don’t want the dirt road; you want the superhighway.

During this time, the Moon is in Pisces in mutual reception to Jupiter in Cancer, Jupiter and Venus are Conjunct within 1 degree of separation, and the MC is conjunct the Point of Fortune toward the end of the period.

It sounds important because it is.

Jupiter has been in Cancer for some time (since June of last year) and is about to transition to Leo on June 30th. Cancer is the sign of his exaltation. This is like Santa Claus being invited to your house for dinner as the guest of honor. He never comes empty-handed. And he’s been moving closer and closer to Venus, the planet of art, beauty, abundance and pleasure, since the first of the month. Next week, he gets within 1 degree – a powerful position called a Conjunction. This relationship will enable us to expand all of that beauty, creativity, and artistic tendencies. We may be expanding our family circles right now and being drawn to what is pleasurable, sensual, and fun. Now we have a stellium – a super-power in a particular sign or house – with Jupiter, Venus and Mercury in the same sign and the same house - and they have a very special act that will be joining them for this short window of time – the point of fortune.

The point of fortune is a marker calculated based on the position of the sun and the moon. It is a point of wealth, abundance, health, opportunities, and good things. Because the Sun and Moon move very quickly around the wheel of the zodiac, this point of fortune is always on the move.
