Here are the big messages this week, the Lucky Star,

and what you can do with it.

Mercury is the Lucky Star for the week!

This quick-witted, changeable messenger of the Gods is our ally, bringing an extra layer of support, mental agility, curiosity, and intellect to the party. Mercury spends all week in Cancer, meaning our mental processing focuses on nurturing exchanges, loving connections, and family-oriented communications. It gives us the distinct ability to evaluate, exchange ideas, organize, and find patterns in what is sensitive and emotional for us so we can truly understand it.

Mercury is especially strong during the first couple of days of the week (Monday and Tuesday), as well as the end of the week (Friday and Saturday). Midweek, the Sun will take center stage, but your overall ability to communicate, translate, listen, and think will give you the most success this week.

This Week’s Aspects

A Conjunction is when 2 planets come within about 1 degree of each other. It's the most powerful aspect, indicating an intensification and a blending of the energies involved. The conjunction can provide unity and focus and, in some cases, blur the boundaries between the planets' functions in this relationship.

  • This week: Look out for the tight Moon-Mercury conjunction on Tuesday and the close Mercury-Jupiter conjunction building toward the weekend.

A Square is a highly energetic angle – the planets involved challenge each other and can force issues to a head. Running away from the opportunity of these lessons means you will see them again soon; leaning into them brings growth and transformation.

  • This week: The nodes are squaring Uranus all week, and Chiron is creating a tense T-square between Jupiter and Pluto.

A Trine is a beautiful, supportive, and harmonious aspect that provides energetic ease, grace, and flow among the planets involved. It isn't especially challenging and can be a bit complacent. That said, in a week with a lot of challenges, a Trine can be a blessing. Planets in a Trine are like besties having a movie night, sitting on the couch, sharing popcorn and Skittles.

  • This week: Venus trines Saturn all week, Neptune trines Venus and Jupiter all week, and Pluto trines Uranus.

A Sextile is a helpful aspect that encourages harmony and communication between the planetary energies making this connection. These planets have an opportunity to develop a gift or a talent together, but they must work together actively to get the benefit.

  • This week: Mercury sextiles Mars all week, Venus sextiles Uranus until Wednesday, and Pluto sextiles Neptune.

Week of June 15: Day-to-Day Moves

Monday

We start the week feeling the influence of Sunday night's Gemini New Moon, which happens very late in the evening. This Gemini lunar energy can feel a bit fickle, chatty, talking about our daily work, emotions, and dreams.  This new moon amplifies our curiosity around how we feel and connect. On Monday the Moon gets super busy: squaring Neptune, sextiling Chiron, trining the North Node, and sextiling the South Node.

Tuesday

The initial cosmic tension lightens up as the Moon joins Mercury and Jupiter in Cancer for a stellium in that sign and conjoins both planets as it moves quickly across Cancer. Because the Moon moves directly across Mercury and Jupiter today, it is an incredible opportunity to align your thoughts with your feelings. It’s a day to speak from the heart, nurture your ideas, and let your intuition guide your logic. In other aspects, the Moon also sextiles Mars and squares Saturn today.

Wednesday

The energetic landscape shifts beautifully by mid-week as the Moon moves into Leo to conjoin Venus. When this happens, the Moon trines Neptune in Aries. A Moon in Leo is courageously dreaming and dramatically emoting, cozying right up to Venus, our Queen of sensuality and extravagant abundance. Expect to feel both of these dramatic energies at once—our emotions and desires are amplified, and the way we nurture becomes deeply playful and pleasurable. We are dreaming in living color and attracting abundance to us in a rare way. Thanks to a supportive trine from Neptune, the planet of escapes, bliss, surrendering, and transcending, we get a beautiful mid-week power boost of fiery, inspired energy. Concurrently, the Moon sextiles Uranus, opposes Pluto, and squares Chiron, while the Sun sextiles Chiron.

Thursday

The cosmic pace shifts as the Moon moves into a supportive trine to Saturn, allowing the planet of rules and boundaries and order to get some of the benefit of the planet of cycles and feelings and intuition.

Friday & Saturday

On Friday night, Chiron makes a major sign change, moving into Taurus. Chiron in Taurus represents a determined integration of what we've learned, a patient wisdom gained, and a slow, steady initiation into who we are becoming. It faithfully reveals and teaches us what lies at the heart of our cosmic wound so we can determinately integrate it.

Meanwhile, the Moon enters Virgo, settling right next to the South Node while forming a sharp square to Uranus in Gemini. This is a fascinating dynamic because both Virgo and Gemini are ruled by Mercury, which is still sitting in the Moon's home sign of Cancer. This interplay can bring up "analysis paralysis," making us feel a bit critical or nitpicky about our moods and feelings. We might find ourselves questioning or changing our emotional patterns, feeling a strong need to communicate what is being enlightened through a restless, rebelling energy. The square challenges us to find grounded stability in our exchanges, our communications, and the stories we tell ourselves. On Friday, the Moon also sextiles the Sun, trines Chiron, and opposes the North Node. Saturday brings a much quieter Moon without major aspects.

Sunday

Happy Solstice and Happy Litha! This marks the longest day of the year, with the Sun rising at 5:25 a.m. and setting at 8:31 p.m.

Early in the day, the Moon reaches the last couple of degrees of Virgo and begins to square the Sun as the Sun officially steps into Cancer. This creates a brief tug-of-war: the bright solar spotlight is shining on the home, intuitive discovery, and emotional cultivation, while the Virgo Moon is still trying to get its arms around everything by analyzing and categorizing its moods.

Towards the evening, the Moon beautifully transitions into balanced, harmonious Libra, where it trines Mars and sextiles Jupiter. In Libra, the Moon is under Venusian rulership, allowing our emotions to flow harmoniously, diplomatically, and elegantly. Sunday evening is designed to ease us out. Plan, if you can, to be completely done with your tasks by about 5:00 p.m.—be done with meal prep, be done with service requests. Give yourself the beautiful gift of sitting in your favorite spot with your favorite people, doing the lovely things that help you connect, nurture, and receive the refined balance of Libra.

As the week closes, Mercury and Jupiter are traveling tightly together, just five degrees apart. However, look out: we will also begin to feel our emotional compass inching closer to a wild conjunction with Uranus in Gemini, signaling that the angles are going to get incredibly busy and volatile heading into next week.

Week of June 15 - Planetary Detail

The Gemini New Moon: Occurring late on Sunday night, this lunation sets a fresh, intellectual tone for Monday morning, asking us to reset how we think and process information before the Moon shifts into its day-to-day aspects.

Mercury as your Ally: Traditionally ruling both the 3rd and 6th houses, Mercury guides how we communicate and process our daily routines.

Through the 3rd house and Gemini, Mercury represents the thinker, the communicator, and the lighthearted, witty explorer. Early in the week, use this energy to remain observant, curious, and vocal about your needs. Keep an eye out for tendencies to get highly strung, distracted, or trapped in overthinking.

Through the 6th house and Virgo, Mercury rules our daily tasks, production, and systems. Later in the week, tap into this detail-oriented, productive, and discerning energy to organize spreadsheets, evaluate what is coming and going, and use structured systems to help you connect and communicate clearly. Watch out for nitpicking or perfectionism.

The Cancer Connections: The sign of Cancer remains highly active early in the week. The Moon forms a conjunction with Mercury and Jupiter as it crosses Cancer this week. This highlights a collective focus on emotional security, intuitive alignment, and protective communication.

Solstice Shifts: As the Sun transitions into Cancer on Sunday, the cosmic spotlight firmly hits our foundations, family roots, and innermost circles, demanding that we anchor our analytical minds into genuine emotional presence.

Stay tuned for next week's update, as we have a powerful moment next Thursday night – it will be the last time that we have Jupiter-day, while Jupiter is in its sign of exaltation (Cancer), during a waxing moon until May of 2037!

Be well and Happy Solstice week,

Liz
